The Role
We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to fill a newly created position within a technology company who provide environmental regulatory compliance software and consultancy solutions to international businesses. You will be playing a key role in working with different people within the organisation to help develop new business opportunities.
Based in our Rugby offices, you will be joining a specialist friendly team and be responsible for all aspects of sales prospect lead generation. The role will suit someone with environmental principles who is at the start of their sales career and who relishes building and nurturing business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
- Following up on campaign activity
- Making outbound calls to companies, to establish the relevant contacts for the Sales Team
- Following-up on established leads, to collate the correct information in the Lorax CRM
- Working with the marketing team to maintain social media presence
- Attending conferences around the world on behalf of the business
- Scheduling Appointments for the Sales Team
- Achieving performance targets
Required Attributes
It is essential that you have the following skills:
- Great customer service skills and experience
- Ability to analyse and understand on-line marketing
- Solid skills in using data-mining to analyse data and extract information
- Strong communication and literacy skills
- An aptitude for building and maintaining a strategic network of relationships
- A desire for building and, more importantly, maintaining a strategic and relevant pipeline of sales prospects
- Permission to work in the UK, by the start of employment
Desirable skills include:
- Familiarity with business social media platforms
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Good level of MS Office competence
- An interest in developing environmental regulations and technologies
- UK driving licence
